Tryout Conflicts

Every year there are some concerns regarding practice and spring break. DHS staff tries to work with players as much as possible - please contact Will Lucero if there are conflicts so he can help them work out. details: wlucero@gci.com  or cell/text (907) 229-7872

 

In order for a player to be eligible to play in the first competition, this year a player must have 10 practice days. This year we have about two weeks before the first game and will have double practice days during spring break. ASAA rules set the requirement, and they do not give any waiver for any other activity.

 

Tryout Requirements

In order to tryout, you must have signed up in planeths.com and submitted all proper paperwork (a current physical, COIVD release forms etc and payment). Don't forget to link your planeths with your players account. Even if you signed up in the fall, double check your forms are complete. You may need to sign a COVID Release form again.

 

The Athletic office, upon receipt of all necesssary paperwork and payment will provide player's name to the coach.  Until the coach receives approval from the Athletic office a player may not try out. Remember, a physical may not expire during the season.
